blackberries in september, cherries in june

First things first, I apologize for this long absence

After a dramatic end of school year, I could escape for two weeks in the center of France, in the valley of the Loire river.
We enjoyed discovering pretty cities embellished with wonderful roses, and finding cherry trees along our walks through the fields.
I still have plenty of things to show you from this lovely travel, but am now packing up for a week in Brittany, so I'm begging you to be patient for some more days.
I promise I won't be long this time.

And for those of you who are on Twitter, you can now follow me here : @highly_beloved

[oldschool] break the silence

some selected pictures I took a few years ago, when I studied photography.
sorry for the long silence.
things are not going to get any better over the coming months I'm afraid.
but I promise I'll make up lost time this summer.

I also wanted to let you know this blog is now on Twitter: @highly_beloved
so whatever happens to Google Reader, if you still want to get my updates, it will now be that way.

who'd have known

how to sum up 1 year in 12 pictures...
I can't even realize it's been one year already. when I decided to create this blog last year, facing my life lost and hopeless, I saw it as a temporary escape.
now I'm back at the university and can't find the time for this blog as much as I would like. (it is soon going to be 'mobile uploads' posts only, I'm afraid!) and I still feel so lost.
thank you all for your oh so lovely comments which always comfort me in those doubt moments. <3

so here are 12 snapshots I chose from my sweet strollings across France and England, visiting gorgeous gardens, discovering secret places in Paris, enjoying the sun.

 couldn't resist a 13th...

[oldschool] it's always darkest before the storm

no there ain't no darkness that i fear

the world's a small child in the dark

storms make trees take deeper roots

all of my fears came true

Wishing you all the best for the new year though...
